I joined them during rehearsals, behind-the-scenes preparations, the setup of the arraial, and all the small moments leading up to Lisbon's Popular Marches during the Santo António festivities. This work was produced for a project with Xiaomi, as part of the launch of the Xiaomi Ultra 15.

Travel photography collection captures the essence of the Dominican Republic, a vibrant Caribbean nation, showcasing the contrast between secluded, untouched beaches and the luxurious settings of resort coastlines. This documentary work was entirely shot using a Xiaomi 14 T PRO. Place like Santo Domingo, Punta Cana, Bávaro, Samaná, Las Galeras and Las Terrenas.

In 2023, I cycled from Cape Town to Nairobi on an electric bicycle — over 6,000 kilometers through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya. Alone, with a camera and a mission: to document a continent in motion.

Livraria Lello – Porto, Portugal. Often described as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, Livraria Lello is more than a space for books — it’s a sanctuary of art, architecture, and imagination.

From the early morning fishing off the coasts of Póvoa de Varzim, Matosinhos, and Aveiro, to the bustling factory lines (many staffed entirely by women), and the vibrant celebrations of São João, São Pedro, and the Romaria of Santa Luzia — this work captures the rhythm of a tradition that feeds both body and culture.

In this project, I had the privilege of guiding a group of children through the art of photography, empowering them to document their neighborhood — its people, stories, and challenges — through their own eyes.

The Azor Hotel in Ponta Delgada is hosting my exhibition “O olhar do Mundo”, featuring a selection of photographs from over a decade of my documentary work across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.

Holi is more than a festival of color — it’s a moment of collective joy, spiritual energy, and ritual freedom. Nowhere is this felt more deeply than in Vrindavan and Mathura, two sacred cities in India intimately connected to the life of Lord Krishna. This photo series captures the intensity of Holi in its most iconic setting. Clouds of color, spontaneous dances, and overflowing crowds turn the streets into sacred stages of emotion and chaos.

Photographs of my journey across India, these images capture moments of daily life, celebration, and spirituality in cities like Varanasi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Agra, Mumbai, Goa and Kolkata. From the vibrant Holi festival to the sacred rituals on the Ganges, each frame reflects the energy, contrasts, and human richness of this extraordinary country.
