Photographer in Porto, Portugal

Based in Porto, Portugal, I work as a documentary, editorial, corporate, and wedding photographer, and I also develop photography workshops, one to one mentoring, photowalks, and fine art projects rooted in real environments, human presence, and everyday life.

Editorial & Travel in Porto

I work as an editorial and travel photographer based in Porto, Portugal, producing visual stories grounded in real environments, human presence, and everyday life. My approach is rooted in long-term observation and a documentary methodology that prioritises context, continuity, and narrative over isolated or purely illustrative images.

My work in Porto has been published by international media outlets and commissioned by institutions, tourism organisations, and private clients seeking an authentic visual language. Rather than focusing solely on iconic views, I develop editorial and travel projects that reflect the city’s social fabric, cultural rhythms, and evolving urban landscape.

Through repeated editorial assignments and personal projects developed in Porto, I have built a sustained visual archive of the city that serves both editorial and travel narratives. This long-term engagement allows me to respond to briefs with depth, local knowledge, and a nuanced understanding of place.

Photography Workshops in Porto with a Documentary Approach

My photography workshops in Porto are led by a documentary photographer based in Porto, Portugal, and are grounded in observation, real situations, and visual storytelling. Alongside small group workshops, I also offer one-to-one photography sessions in Porto for photographers seeking a more personalised and intensive learning experience.

Both the group workshops and the one-to-one sessions are designed for photographers who want to move beyond isolated, strong images and develop coherent narratives rooted in natural light and everyday life. Group workshops emphasise collective learning, fieldwork, and editing discussions, while one-to-one mentoring allows for a fully customised programme adapted to individual goals, pace, and experience level.

These workshops and private sessions attract international participants looking for an immersive learning process connected to the city itself rather than a guided photo tour. Porto becomes both the setting and the subject of the learning experience.

Documentary Wedding Photography in Porto

I work as a documentary wedding photographer based in Porto, Portugal, focusing on real moments, natural light, and the rhythm of the day as it unfolds. My approach avoids staging and repeated scenes, prioritising observation, atmosphere, and genuine human interaction over traditional wedding photography conventions.

Porto offers a rich and layered setting for weddings, from historic neighbourhoods and riverside spaces to contemporary venues and private homes. I work discreetly within these environments, allowing events to develop naturally while building a coherent visual narrative that reflects the character of both the place and the people involved.

I regularly work with international couples who choose Porto and northern Portugal for destination weddings. My familiarity with the city, combined with long-term experience in documentary photography, allows me to approach each wedding with sensitivity, contextual awareness, and a strong sense of visual continuity.

Corporate & Branding in Porto

I work as a corporate and branding photographer based in Porto, Portugal, collaborating with companies, institutions, and organisations to produce photography rooted in real environments and everyday working contexts. My approach prioritises authenticity, consistency, and visual coherence, avoiding staged or generic imagery in favour of photographs that reflect how people and organisations actually operate.

Corporate photography projects in Porto often involve a combination of portraits, workplace documentation, events, and visual storytelling for communication and branding purposes. I work closely with teams to ensure the imagery aligns with their identity and can be used consistently across digital platforms, publications, and internal or external communication.

My experience working with international media and long-term documentary projects informs the way I approach corporate commissions. This background allows me to translate complex activities, processes, and organisational cultures into clear and credible visual narratives for both local companies and international clients operating in Porto.
