Wall Street Journal assignment, Lisbon, October 2021. I photographed how Portugal began to live with Covid-19 as an endemic reality. The work followed downtown Lisbon and the return of daily routines in public spaces, testing and vaccination sites, and the first wave of tourists back in the city. At Estádio da Luz, I covered a match where supporters had to show proof of vaccination to enter, a clear marker of the transition underway. Photography: Daniel Rodrigues for The Wall Street Journal
