Cape Town to Nairobi

In 2023, I cycled from Cape Town to Nairobi on an electric bicycle — over 6,000 kilometers through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Kenya.

Alone, with a camera and a mission: to document a continent in motion.

This project was supported by EDP, ActivoBank, Beeq, Fujifilm Portugal and Mbit. The journey was about encounters, resilience, silence, breakdowns, kindness, and a deeper understanding of the land and the people.
