Saltinho is a heavenly place in a huge and rocky riverbed with waterfalls and jungle around. It is situated 25 kms southeast of Xitole (turn 35 kms south of Bambadinca), near the village of Mampatá. Its waterfalls are very beautiful, even more during the rainy season when the river become a lake. Saltinho still has an important bridge built by the Portuguese people in the 60 which were based in nearby villages at the time of the colonial war.
In this portefolio we can see the natives of that area which go every day in the late afternoon bathing, washing clothes and, especially children, can get to enjoy the river, where they can take dips in the water and jump from rocks to the river.
